2023 Class and Clinic Information

Think exercise class meets personalized pelvic floor course. 

​

​

Join in this summer's 6 week postpartum exercise class in a supportive community while

learning how to move better, feel better and come back from postpartum stronger than ever! 

​

In addition to postpartum appropriate strength and cardio, we will include:

​

  •  Guided movement screenings to help you identify how to move better

  • Specific corrective exercises for each participant

 

  • Strategies to maintain improvements long term

  • Relatable content to help you understand your pelvic floor better

 

​

Content is geared towards women in the first year postpartum but helpful for all mamas

​

​

While early postpartum rehab is helpful for most, mamas <6 weeks pp need written medical clearance from their birth provider

​

Meets Mondays 9:30am, 175/ participant for 6 weeks

​

Learn strategies to optimize labor and pushing from perinatal pelvic floor physical therapist Dr. Allison Matos. 

 

We will cover techniques to enhance pushing, positioning mechanics for active labor and ways to connect to your pelvic floor for labor and postpartum recovery. Bring a yoga mat if you have one and comfy clothes you can move in. RSVP early as space in our classroom is limited.

Learn strategies and exercises to best prepare your body for running postpartum and become informed to help to reduce your risk of frustrating injuries 

 

  Fantastic for: postpartum women who are currently back to running or planning to get back on the pavement and for pregnant women wanting to plan ahead for postpartum recovery!
